We’re thrilled to announce the return of the 2nd Annual Night at the Races Event on May 17, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. at Zuccaro’s Banquets and Catering.

This highly anticipated event includes virtual horse racing, dinner, drinks, and fun, and is open to both members and non-members. We have multiple sponsorships to choose from, including horse sponsorships, where for just $25, you can name your horse and watch it win!

Every dollar raised through your generous donations will benefit two amazing charities: The Macomb Foster Closet, and Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs. The Macomb Foster Closet provides much-needed clothing and other essential items for free to children in foster care. Since 2010, Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs has been rescuing, raising, training, and donating individually trained medical service dogs to veterans and others struggling with disabilities.

Our Charities Macomb Foster Closet

Macomb Foster Closest is run by dedicated volunteers ensure children in foster care feel supported by offering them and their families free clothing and essential items. This all-volunteer non-profit fosters the well-being of children in difficult circumstances.  There are over 12,000 children in foster care in Michigan alone. Help make a difference with your donation!

Virtual horse racing involves simulated races displayed on screens. Guests can "bet" on outcomes to win prizes, adding a thrilling competitive edge to the evening without actual gambling.

How Do I Become a Sponsor or Donate?
To become a sponsor or donate items for the auction, please contact us at marketing@freestarfinancial.com. We offer various sponsorship levels with corresponding benefits.
Are Donations Tax-Deductible?
Donations to the FreeStar Financial Foundation (EIN #93-2371902), a 501(c)(3) entity, are tax-deductible. We will provide a receipt for your records if the donation is over $250.00. If you would like a receipt for a donation of less than $250.00, you can email marketing@freestarfinancial.com. 
How Can I Purchase Tickets?
Tickets can be purchased through our online platform linked by entering your credit card information or by mailing a check made payable to FreeStar Financial Foundation P.O. Box 2800 Mt. Clemens, MI 48046. Please ensure payment is received before the registration deadline.
What Does My Ticket Include?
Each ticket grants you access to the event, dinner, open bar, and participation in the virtual horse races and auctions. VIP tickets offer additional perks such as reserved seating and special mentions.
