Youth Savings Month 

Financial literacy is more important than ever. FreeStar Financial's Youth Savings Month provides an opportunity to teach children and young adults about saving, budgeting, and managing their finances. With the right guidance, young people can learn how to build wealth and achieve their goals, setting themselves up for a lifetime of financial stability and success.

Join us for an exciting month dedicated to youth savings at FreeStar Financial Credit Union. From April 1 - April 30, we're celebrating young savers with fantastic rewards and opportunities to kickstart their financial journey.

Everyone who's 18 and under is encouraged to participate! 

What's Happening

During the entire month of April, we're encouraging youth to open a Youth Savings account, where they'll learn how to build wealth, and set and achieve their goals. Plus, they can earn some great prizes including:

• $100 Cash Prizes: We're giving away 10 - $100 cash prizes** throughout the month! Simply participate in our youth savings activities for a chance to win big.
• Deposit Match: For every new youth account that makes a deposit of $25 or more, FreeStar Financial will match the deposit, up to $25!* That means your savings get an instant boost, doubling your initial deposit.

How To Participate

All you have to do is open a Youth Savings account between April 1 and April 30, make a deposit of $10 or more, and you're on the path smart savings. When the Youth Account is opened, you'll automatically be entered to win a $100 cash prize! 

Plus, during the month of April, when you open a new Youth Savings account, we'll match your initial deposit - up to $25!

*In order to qualify for a deposit match up to $25, your account must be in good standing for 30 days following the Youth Savings account promotion end. Deposit must be made from April 1 - April 30 to qualify. Only one deposit match will be awarded during the month of April. Member cannot combine other offers. 

**$100 cash prizes are applicable to both new and existing accounts and must be in good standing for 30 days following the Youth Savings account promotion end. If a member has an existing account, to enter the contest for the cash prize, they must submit their name, date of birth, and parent or guardian information on a 4x6 index card, mailed to: FreeStar Financial Credit Union P.O. Box 2800, Mt. Clemens, MI 48046. Entry must be postmarked by April 30 to be eligible.
